In this case the students should reprogram a surface that has lost is quality as a public space. The (hypothetically) destroyed spaces of Central Park, left as a vast residual space (terrain vague) are taken as subject of the exercise.
With this starting point, we can determine the need to critically reflect on the condition of lost space from an architectural viewpoint. The surfaces should generate a spatial development strategy for a determined program.
